The fine print of the hotel of master baker Lukas & Globi

1. Object of agreement

These General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between you and the Bakery hotel Imseng. These are based on the reservation or order confirmation, in other words the signed offer which acts as a confirmation.

 

2. Option dates

The dates of the options (tenders, order confirmation) are binding for both parties. Upon expiry of the option period, the Bakery hotel Imseng automatically possesses the reserved accommodation or rooms.

 

3. Cancellation of hotel stays

If you have reserved a room without having guaranteed the reservation by means of a credit card, we will keep the room free for you until 4pm on the day of your arrival. If you have not arrived by 4pm, the Bakery hotel Imseng automatically has the right to reallocate the room. If you have guaranteed your reservation by means of a credit card, and are unable/no longer wish to fulfil the reserved service, we ask you to cancel the reservation by 4pm on the day of your arrival at the very latest. In the case of a late cancellation, no-show, late arrival or early departure, an invoice will be charged for the entire length of the stay, in accordance with your reservation. If the room(s) can be otherwise rented, we are willing to refrain from sending you an invoice.

 

For reservations made via the online booking engine, the respective reservation and cancellation conditions apply.

 

For groups of 10 people or more, the following rates apply:

0 - 7 days before:  100% of the forgone turnover

8 - 14 days before:  75% of the forgone turnover

15 - 30 days before:  30% of the forgone turnover (due as an advance payment 30 days before arrival)

 

4. Other stipulations

4.1 Damages

The client is liable to the Bakery hotel Imseng for damages and losses caused by his/her helpers or participants, without the need for the hotel to provide proof of culpability. The hotel accepts no liability for fraud or damages caused by organisers, participants, speakers or third party materials.

4.2  Applicable law, place of jurisdiction

The legal relationship between you and the Bakery hotel Imseng falls under the jurisdiction of Swiss law. Should any one part of the contract be ineffective, this does not impact upon the effectiveness of the overall contract. The place of jurisdiction is agreed to be Visp, although the hotel remains free to take legal action in the domicile of the defendant.
